Calvin Stevens – Executive Director

Calvin Stevens serves as the Executive Director of Keokuk Cares and as the Family Ministry Director at Keokuk EFree Church.

Calvin was born and raised in Keokuk, and this community has shaped much of who he is. He is currently getting his bachelor’s in Ministry Leadership through Moody Bible Institute Online.

Calvin and his wife, Melissa, are raising their four kids here in town. Melissa teaches iJAG at Keokuk High School, and their family stays involved in church, school activities, and community service.

In his role with Keokuk Cares, Calvin helps organize projects, coordinate volunteers, and respond to the needs of local residents.

He is grateful for the chance to bring neighbors together and remind the community that Keokuk truly cares.

Ashley Custer – Board Secretary

Ashley Custer is the secretary of Keokuk Cares and works full time at the Keokuk Police Department as an Administrative Assistant. She is also a full time student pursuing a teaching degree in elementary and middle level education.

Ashley and her husband Drake live in Keokuk and have two boys that keep them busy with many activities. As a family they are active in volunteering in the community and are very involved in school activities.

Ashley bleeds purple and loves this community that she calls home.

Mary Facker – Board Treasurer

Mary Facker serves as the Fleet and Operations Manager at Pason Systems, bringing more than 15 years of experience in operations management and strong financial acumen to the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University and has built a career focused on improving operational efficiency, team coordination, and strategic planning.

In addition to her professional work, Mary is the owner of Finn’s Hideaway in Warsaw, and a member of the Nauvoo Chamber of Commerce. Although Mary currently lives in Houston she considers the area her true home, and is committed to strengthening the community she grew up in.

She joins the Board with a passion for supporting meaningful local initiatives and improving the lives of everyday residents of Keokuk.
