FAQs
Who can get help?
Veterans, seniors, and neighbors facing physical or financial limitations.
What services are offered?
We focus on practical outdoor support like grass cutting, yard care, and snow removal through our Adopt-A-Walk & Yard Program. We also host quarterly cleanup events and handle minor exterior repairs. All support is done outdoors — we do not enter homes.
How do I request support?
Simply fill out the help request form on our website or call and leave a voicemail, and a volunteer will follow up with you.
Is there a cost involved?
No, all services are completely free of charge.
Can I volunteer too?
Yes, we welcome neighbors who want to lend a hand. You can sign up through the volunteer form on our website.
How does Keokuk Cares keep things safe?
All volunteers sign a liability waiver, receive basic safety instructions before each community cleanup, and we carry general liability to help keep everyone protected.
